Grasslands Kopu II

Kopu II

  • Highest producing white clover available in large leaf class
  • High stolon density, large-leaved white clover
  • Suited to rotational cattle grazing
  • High feed quality - improved sugar (soluble carbohydrate) levels
  • Highest tolerance to Clover Root Weevil in large-leaf class

Grasslands Kopu II white clover outperforms all existing large-leaf proprietary white clovers on an annual basis. Grasslands Kopu II recovers rapidly after grazing and is ideally suited to higher fertility rotational grazing farms.

Dry Matter Production

Grasslands Kopu II is an excellent option for rotational grazing by cattle. The trial data below demonstrates the excellent dry matter production of Grasslands Kopu II under rotational dairy grazing.

Sowing and Establishment
Grasslands Kopu II can be sown in autumn or spring at 4-6 kg/ha and is best sown with erect growing species, such as ryegrass, prairie grass and tall fescue. The use of SUPERSTRIKE® treated seed will improve seedling establishment. For best performance Grasslands Kopu II should be lightly grazed frequently during the establishment phase.

Grazing Management

Due to its erect growth habit, Grasslands Kopu II is ideally suited for rotational cattle grazing systems.
