Grasslands Bounty

Bounty

  • Very high yielding medium-leaf white clover
  • High stolon density and excellent persistence
  • Bred for improved autumn activity
  • Best combination of dry matter yield and stolon density in the medium-leaf class under sheep grazing

Sowing and Establishment

Grasslands Bounty can be established at 3-4 kg/ha following recommended pasture establishment procedures. Bounty performs best on moderate free draining soils of medium high fertility, with pH in the range of 6-6.5. The use of SUPERSTRIKE® treated seed will improve initial establishment. Bounty can be mixed with Grasslands Tahora white clover for "harsher environments" or with Grasslands Kopu II under rotational grazing systems.

Grazing Management

Grasslands Bounty will provide best results under rotational grazing systems for sheep, cattle and deer. However Bounty can perform well under set stocking and oversowing situations. For best performance Bounty should be lightly grazed frequently during the establishment phase.
